Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Landscaping 1344Mar 29, 2019 8:41 pm Kennedy's in Cranbourne. Really happy with the rocks, will hopefully get a pic tomorrow once the rain has cleaned them off. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Landscaping 1345Apr 04, 2019 11:47 am Tiler inspected the crack tiles and wasn't happy to repair them so we're waiting on Beaumont's to come have a look. Carpet company came to inspect the gaps in the carpet and turns out they are cuts right through to the underlay so that needs to be repaired. Our aircon has died for the third time; faulty valve this time. Waiting for the part to be installed. If it fails again it goes to the warranty team Side path mostly done, we just need a few more rocks. Herb wall all planted too. Veggie garden is next on the list. Then we just need a planter box for the front yard. We don't want to do it as well, to save money but apparently Boutique Homes recommends it for protecting the slab of the house. So if the underlay is damaged, it's a **** carpet layer Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Landscaping 1352Apr 04, 2019 4:34 pm Drew01 blackcat20 Drew01 [quote="blackcat20"]Hmmm M are declining to repair the carpet because it wasn't raised at handover. Once at the top of the stairs and again in the master bedroom. Both shower screens were replaced before handover. Hi Blackcat, the slab for your hot water system is it part of your house slab Or they just put a few concrete block separately. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Landscaping 1358May 03, 2019 5:49 pm M are really doing my head in. They've randomly disqualified defects for no reason other than we didn't tell them before handover. Instead we logged them in the portal like they told us to and they haven't told us which items they've struck off until I've chased up things. Two large cuts in my carpet, a damaged door handle and visibly patchy paint are apparently acceptable. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Landscaping 1359May 05, 2019 9:28 pm I cracked the **** over the entire paint job, our P38 joint on the stairs, cracked tiles, scratched windows, a kitchen bench top that won't remain joined - now up to repair number 8 being done tomorrow, and to top it off, a damaged window frame upstairs that they said the window has to come out to repair, which means scaffolding, EPS being re-rendered, etc. We asked for compensation over the window as we don't trust them to replace the window without stuffing the side of the house, or our new driveway with the scaffolding. And were told we should have bought it up at construction. We did, but were told to bring it up after handover.... We've had tile repairs done that are unsatisfactory, and trades that simply haven't shown up to six things... Overall we're still happy with the house though...
