Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 27, 2019 9:00 pm Hi all, Our house construction is finally coming to completion in the next month or so. We have engaged a 3rd party inspector for each main stage, and will also have a pre-handover inspection. My question is, when do we make the final payment? If the inspector finds defects and we request them be fixed, do we wait until they all have been fixed, no matter how large or small the defect? Do we make the final payment and move in, if there are only a small few defects, then trust the builder to fix them after we move in? Thanks all.
