The rest of my fence went in today which was just as well because the dog moved in.

Finally in desperation I have just had a huge 7.5m x4.4m rug made to cover the tiles in my dining/living room. At the moment it is the best $700 I have spent. Re: HGWA in Calleya Estate 435Jun 04, 2019 4:22 pm Hi, I am building my new home with blueprint homes. They are using della vita products like benchtop, taps and even led lights. My main concern is their led downlights. They are giving me three 25W downlights in living area and kitchen. I am not sure if it is a good idea to have 25W led or replace them with clipsal 9W ones as some people said 25W is not good for residential purpose. Anyone used them in their home? Your suggestions will mean a lot to us. Cheers Deep Re: HGWA in Calleya Estate 436Jun 04, 2019 4:34 pm We took most of the LED lights out and replaced with batons as we wanted to get our own pendants etc. We did leave some LEDs above the kitchen and bathroom benches and in the toilets. They are 10W and plenty bright enough. On a separate note, if they are offering Della Vita floor tiles I (and others on this forum) strongly recommend against the charcoal grey. They are awful and will NEVER look clean. Re: HGWA in Calleya Estate 438Jun 04, 2019 4:43 pm Yes, they are the 10W Della Vita ones. I have 2x 10W LEDs over a 2.3m bench and that provides good lighting. I would think for 5 metres you would need at least 4x LEDs to provide sufficient lighting in a kitchen. Yeah they are actually giving me 1 x 25W in the kitchen and 2 X 25W in the living/dining. The size of 25W is bigger than other so if I need to replace that in future, I have to find something of same size of bigger. So instead of I am thinking of adding 6 x 15 W in the living/dining and 2 X 15W in the kitchen. Hope it will be enough |
