In the January I reported to the painter that there was blistering in the paintwork, he said he would fix it. Some of the work was fixed in August. I had a look after it had been fixed and notified the painter that there were still other areas that needed fixing. He said they would be done. As it is a rental property I went to have a look at the next property inspection and notified the painter that there were still blisters in the paintwork that had been there originally. He decided that he had to call in the Dulux expert to have it tested. He has now decided it's not his responsibility and does not want to fix the blistering even though it occurred during the warranty period. So if the painter followed the specs this should not have happened and I think he should rectify the work.
