Upgrade your alarm to include key remotes and remote to integrate with garage door. Works out cheaper than doing it afterwards. No one asked us so we didn't think of it at the time Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 13655Dec 12, 2018 7:05 pm Hi all Need some advice. For our kitchen island bench, I have the option to extend the bench length to 3600mm instead of the standard 2800mm The only downside is that the Caesarstone benchtop comes with the max length of 3000mm so they will need to put a joint in to make it 3600mm Will the joint destroy the look of the benchtop? If I do go with the joint what will be a good place to have one to make it less obvious? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 13656Dec 12, 2018 7:07 pm CS199 Hi all Need some advice. Depends on what benchtop you will have as to if it will look bad or not Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 13657Dec 12, 2018 7:10 pm Manhattan52 CS199 Hi all Need some advice. Depends on what benchtop you will have as to if it will look bad or not They won't be a full length 3000mm and then a joint on a side for 600mm.......dont really want to spoil the look of the kitchen in trying to make island bigger. Going with Nougat as the benchtop Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 13658Dec 12, 2018 7:21 pm CS199 Manhattan52 CS199 Hi all Need some advice. Going with Nougat as the benchtop the join will be in the middle for strength purposes. Close up you will see the join but a few metres away you won’t. Joins especially on a island bench can get a bit grubby also. Would recommend sticking with the one slab Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 13659Dec 12, 2018 7:25 pm doosra Another tip for those still in admin.
