Your house is coming up beautifully!
We are at the lock-up stage. Meeting with SS tomorrow so will take some photos. But the kitchen cabinets are looking good from what we could see through the windows. Will see what else is new tomorrow.

Downpipes installed. Internal paintwork commenced. (Please excuse the mess...) Very happy with how everything is coming together Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Building with Ausbuild at Harrington Estate, Bridgeman D 75Dec 03, 2018 9:00 pm Valandra Shawn Have you had stage inspections done by an independent company through-out your build? We've been using kspec at each stage, they've been great! We used KSpec too, and I would recommend them. Re: Building with Ausbuild at Harrington Estate, Bridgeman D 77Dec 14, 2018 10:03 am Aaaaalmost ready... Lights and powerpoints have been installed, external painting completed, sinks, bath, towel rails, taps and door handles also in. I think they’re pretty much done for the year, most of what’s remaining will be done in January. The Austral brick we had originally signed off on had a substantial colour variance between the one in the Ausbuild display centre and the sample we obtained from Austral direct. We spoke to the Austral rep who obtained a couple of bricks from the actual batch we would have received. The difference was too great so we were allowed to switch bricks - in the end we went with a PGH brick that was closer match to the colour we were after. Worked out better as the feature brick we had chosen with Austral was a lot extra whereas PGH had a similar feature brick that was in standard range. The saving in bricks we put towards off-white mortar all round. The PGH display centre is great to compare bricks and mortar. They have walls of the same brick but half are normal grey mortar and half off-white. The difference is so different in some cases you think they are different bricks. This is what sold me on the off-white mortar. Good luck with your choice! Crisis averted. Ausbuild managed to source the brick that we originally selected... Hi Irish, So you ended up getting Austral Urban 'Chiffon' ?
