But interesting to know regarding the vertical ventilation gaps I'll have to take a look. Also, you should provision for a bigger electrical circuit. The standard electric cooktop is 6.4 kW, the Siemens/Neff induction are 11.1 kW. (well at least in my current property) Therefore a larger load breaker could just be retrofitted if required? but I did think of that to ask my electrician as I'm no sparky myself! I guess it all depends on how the rawson sparky wires it up...
