We are building in the Providence estate in South Ripley, Queensland. So far our timeline has been: Contract for land sign: 20/01/18 (Expected registration September 2018) Preliminary Agreement signed and Paid with Coral Homes: 14/04/18 Contract Signing with Coral Homes: 1/6/18 Tile Appointment: 14/6/18 Colour Appointment: 20/6/18 Electrical Appointment: 22/6/18 Land Registered: 21/12/18 Plans submitted to council: 14/01/18 Land Settlement: 29/01/19 Plumbing Approval: 22/02/19 (28 business days) Building Approval: 22/02/19 (28 business days) Start Date: 1/04/19 PCI: 2/7/19 Handover: 11/7/19 Week 1: * Site scrape * Piers and footings poured * Plumbing installed * Toilet Delivered Week 2: * Formwork Installed * Waffle pods installed * Slab poured * Frame walls installed Week 3: * Roof Frame installed Week 4 (Easter week): * Gutters and Fascia installed * Safety Railing installed Week 5: * Roof installed * Insulation wrapped * Front door delivered * Windows and external doors delivered. * Front door Installed * Windows and external doors installed. I was there over the weekend and found the area quite nice to drive through, mind you I only checked out the community hub area and it has a relaxed family/community feel. It was a nice walk through Coral home's display and be told that most of the things were standard!, following your buiild - how exciting! We waited 4 weeks between deposit and contract signing but I think it was a very busy time of year then as it was right before EOFY. FYI We paid deposit 7/1 Results came back 21/01 (2 week turnaround as expected) Hopefully won't be too long before we get the contract Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption.
