The good news for me is that yes, thankfully my budget covers it despite those prices being (sorry to have to say it) exorbitant. The bad news is that I thought I was allocating way too much to that budget so might be able to claw back a lot of it. Not so - at those prices I think my budget is only about $600 above what it will actually end up being. Though at least it will be "under budget" . Wow, I'll be doing blackflips in celebration after getting my Crimsafe installed. Re: G.J Gardner build - Week 17 - Painting 315Nov 08, 2018 2:58 pm Just a quick update, still in hospital for a few more days, but it’s all going smoothly. Painters are still onsite from what I have been told. No new pics just yet, perhaps next week. I’m still in hospital, no word on when I’m getting out. Allison popped by the house to pay the painters for the extra work they did for us. Was able to take a few pics of the colours. So the green areas are the lounge and master bedroom. The grey is the media and my office. I was really worried about the green walls, but once the plastic is removed and it contrasts against the dark timber tile - it’s going to look amazing. 3 weeks for painting, it was a big job I guess, plus we upgraded to the 3 coats. Hope everyone else’s builds are moving forward Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ All progress pics are in the first post - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89917&p=1761154#p1761154 Hi Everyone I learned something this week that I thought would be worth sharing.
