I’m guessing I have a few more doors and windows than you ( not bragging ). its ok to brag! you guys worked hard so flaunt it! Re: G.J Gardner build - Week 17 - Painting 309Nov 02, 2018 9:33 am Mr. Sausage BrentandAllison pandibabi I found a guy who did my brother's house with crim safe external doors/windows he was really cheap. I got him to quote my house for $5700 which includes the following 2x 90x180cm window 1x 60x180cm window 4x 180x120 window 2x 180x180 window 1x 210x250 sliding door 2x 820 doors I really like the crim safe doors because you don't even need to lock with a key, the lock it comes with is good enough and you can see out and not notice the grills Oh wow. I got a quote from a crimsafe dealer $16k!!! Give me your guys number!!! Brent, what was the configuration of the $16K order if you don't mind me asking. I am looking to get Crimsafe for my new home however the company aren't even quoting anymore till next year (too many orders to get finished before Christmas). if you don't want to go into specifics, even just the cost of one single standard door would be helpful. The good news for me is that yes, thankfully my budget covers it despite those prices being (sorry to have to say it) exorbitant. The bad news is that I thought I was allocating way too much to that budget so might be able to claw back a lot of it. Not so - at those prices I think my budget is only about $600 above what it will actually end up being. Though at least it will be "under budget" . Wow, I'll be doing blackflips in celebration after getting my Crimsafe installed. Re: G.J Gardner build - Week 17 - Painting 315Nov 08, 2018 3:58 pm Just a quick update, still in hospital for a few more days, but it’s all going smoothly. Painters are still onsite from what I have been told. No new pics just yet, perhaps next week. I’m still in hospital, no word on when I’m getting out. Allison popped by the house to pay the painters for the extra work they did for us. Was able to take a few pics of the colours. So the green areas are the lounge and master bedroom. The grey is the media and my office. I was really worried about the green walls, but once the plastic is removed and it contrasts against the dark timber tile - it’s going to look amazing. 3 weeks for painting, it was a big job I guess, plus we upgraded to the 3 coats. Hope everyone else’s builds are moving forward Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ All progress pics are in the first post - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89917&p=1761154#p1761154 Hi Everyone I learned something this week that I thought would be worth sharing. I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 9531 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
