I saw something post a few years back saying it was around $3.3k but i assume that's changed now. Mate you are likely better off to have the builder leave the appliances in the garage and sell them afterwards if able. The credit will not be for the full retail or even the wholesale value of the items. Don’t think Wisdom will let you do this.. We asked if we could do that, was told no so we just deleted them all together and got 3.3K credit. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 13136Oct 22, 2018 11:43 am We had a really successful PCI inspection this morning. No major issues found by our private inspector or us. Nearly everything was cosmetic - paint and plaster touch ups, redoing some tiling where the grout lines are uneven, fixing some scratches on the polyurethane in the kitchen, replacing some bathroom mirrors as we had requested wall to wall mirrors. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The hallway was about the worst space and it still doesn’t have many marks. Inspector picked up a couple of bricks to be replaced and some render to be redone and we found some missing dimmer switches. Handover is pencilled in for 2nd November. Only our neighbour blocking access for our final gutter install is a problem at this point that might delay our IOC. For those who have done it post.. What did you do with the existing ilve appliances from Wisdom? Hi stevezau, we originally asked for a variation for the credit of these following appliances but decided in the end to just let WH do the install for convenience. I don't want to know how much I would save by sourcing and installing privately lol. These prices were recent. - cooker $1600 - DW $515 - MW $245 Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 13139Oct 22, 2018 1:48 pm ASJ1981 becks81 @Manhattan52 and ASJ1981 any progress this week for you guys?? We are just waiting for DA approval, I suspect this will be my status for a while...... On the upside, we decided against the Gesso tile for our entire ground floor, we went back to CQ last week and met with Georgia who was really helpful and got our quote revised on the same day. We loved the Gesso as a tile but decided it was the wrong finish and shade for our home and we're much happier with our final choice. Hi becks81, still waiting for our Submission Plans to be amended and a Variation (to upgrade 1 x stacker door height and upgrade 3 x window heights) amongst other corrections to the Submission Plans that Mieke and I discussed. I think they need to re-submit our BASIX as well because of the increased heights to the door and windows. Once all of this is sorted out, then they can submit to Council. Our Council is apparently approving Submissions within 2 to 3 weeks! Realistically, i think our build will start late Jan to early Feb 2019 though, taking into account Christmas shutdown and all the paperwork that still needs to get sorted after Council Approval. In regards to your change in flooring, did they charge you for re-quote? ASJ1981 no charge as we had not signed the original quote yet Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 13140Oct 22, 2018 1:49 pm Manhattan52 ASJ1981 becks81 Manhattan52 and ASJ1981 any progress this week for you guys?? I did meet with W Pools PM and also Head of Landscapes and have to say WOW! They were amazing. Really looking forward to working with them. They seriously made me feel so confident with the plans and execution. They gave a plan of attack, explained each process and why and then gave a follow up email a few hours later. Can’t rave enough about how great they were! Needless to say they have a huge job ahead on 2000m2 Manhattan52 great to hear a positive experience! We will most likely get a chunk done by the too, again for convenience but also to have a smooth flow between the render of our house and the fence etc Can someone please offer some advice?
