Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12822Oct 03, 2018 8:13 pm Thought I would post a Week 13 progress photo as I haven't had a chance to get on the forum recently. Roof went on today - just before the rain started. Ridge capping still needs to be fixed down but starting to get a good picture of how the finished product will look. Can't wait for the cladding and render to be finished. I was thinking this is in the house base price. It’s in Additional Site Costs for us - $1290 Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12824Oct 03, 2018 9:24 pm becks81 kingofnowhere Quick question, I just got my tender and wondering if any one has been decked with a charge of 3+K for concrete pump in site cost, is this usual. I was thinking this is in the house base price. It’s in Additional Site Costs for us - $1290 $2150 for me however tender request was 17 months ago so hard to compare them to now Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12825Oct 03, 2018 9:59 pm Can I just ask how redraw and admin fees are usually itemised? Do you get a variation? Or is it a line item in your DEP? Is it usually easy to work out what the fee is in relation to? Just want to be prepared. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12826Oct 03, 2018 11:04 pm Hi Everyone New this forum and post. Love hearing all the great tips and ideas. We are thinking of building the Wisdom Majestic 45 - it's a KDR. We had our tender presentation. I'm keen to find out who has built this? What facade did you pick? I picked the Grange, however I am having second thoughts. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12827Oct 04, 2018 7:05 am becks81 Can I just ask how redraw and admin fees are usually itemised? You will get a variation for it and will be itemised on your draft end panel Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12828Oct 04, 2018 7:06 am NENO241 Hi Everyone New this forum and post. Welcome to the forum NENO241, I am also doing a KDRB in North Ryde, and have built the same Majestic series, but a smaller one (35). At the time, I wanted to go Grange, but then had to with Esprit due to council limitations. Some small things are ridiculous the concrete pump 2 pumps are needed for most builds one for piers and one for slab, wish they just include it in base price. Just dropping a hello to everyone. I have been reading everyone’s post for a couple months now and sent a few DM to individuals. It’s so great to see your progress, selections, thoughts and handy tips. We are currently waiting for our tender presentation and as usual, time and cost is always the challenge. Been trying to do some homework before each stage of our KDR, even to the point of locking down our choices for variations. We are in North Ryde building a Manhattan 44 bath version. My Christmas wish would be to get all the approvals done by then. Wishful thinking? 🤔 Thanks in advance for your time!
