A bit more work but I think worth it for any of these layouts. The hinges are actually on the side opposite the vanity. So it swings towards the wall not vanity. My concern would be if the vanity is moved any closer to the door then someone using the basin near the door could be hit by the door. Thanks for the tip on the spray. You shouldn't have a problem with someone being hit by the door as I wouldn't assume that someone would come barging in if the door is shut (especially with a toilet in there).
