Re: Our Custom Hamptons Inspired Home - We are in!!! 776Oct 01, 2018 6:14 pm Wild Hi Dani, Beautiful home mate, Congrats. Are these floors are Engineered Timber Oak ? Hey Wild, thanks. Still a work in progress lol. Yes, they are engineered oak in French Grey from French Oak Floors. Very happy we chose this instead of laminate despite the extra cost but each to their own. What are you thinking for your place? Re: Our Custom Hamptons Inspired Home - We are in!!! 777Oct 01, 2018 6:18 pm Renman Beautiful looking home Dani. Can I ask who for you get to do the build in cabinetry and how much it cost you guys? Thanks Ren. If you’re referring to the study, it’s a company called Home Office Made Easy. It’s not quite custom but they offer sizing in 10cm increments and various combinations and finishes. What are you looking to get done? What are you thinking for your place? I am building with M and planning to do flooring post handover, juggling between porcelain tiles which I like but partner likes oak flooring n pressure is intense, do you mind me asking if you did it post handover and how much per sq meter did it cost. Your flooring Looking damn hot though. Thanks dani. Re: Our Custom Hamptons Inspired Home - We are in!!! 779Oct 01, 2018 10:35 pm Dani_J Renman Beautiful looking home Dani. Our product was just over $100 per sq m and we were lucky to have my brother in law lay them for us so saved $$$ in labour. It's all down to budget and personal preference really. Being our second home we wanted something different (we had tiles throughout at our last place) and a bit nicer, hence the choice to go engineered boards. Good luck choosing and agreeing!!
