Kellyville - Balmoral Road Release 204Aug 22, 2018 2:53 pm Whoknowz @ste982 we have been working with an architect for the past year now designing our house. We initially inquired to Aquire Property about getting access to do a survey of the block and soil tests but received no feedback from them. Interested to see how you go as we currently cannot do elevations without a survey. Just spoke to solicitor Regina and she anticipates September/October settlement now Our surveyer has been out to block and done what he needed to do however I don’t think soil testing was done. we have our plans ready to go to council just awaiting settlement Re: Land Registration? Re: Land Registration? Kellyville - Balmoral Road Release 208Aug 22, 2018 3:43 pm That whole area is M class so save yourself soil test cost if that's all your after. My engineer has done a couple of houses there in the area and knows. Also if your surveyor is okay, they can just get in from the side fence and do their work. Fussy ones won't! --- I don't have a signature - just this sentence saying that I don't have one - that'll do! Re: Land Registration? Kellyville - Balmoral Road Release 209Aug 23, 2018 7:02 am I haven't worked with any architect yet; just started thinking about the designs and builders, etc. How much does it cost to get the home design and contour survey completed by an architect? One of the builders was saying $5k and another one $15k? Re: Land Registration? We recently also used lifesize plans to walk through our design and found this valuable and are currently modifying some aspects of the home based on our experience at lifesize plans. Re: Land Registration? Kellyville - Balmoral Road Release 213Aug 23, 2018 8:24 am Whoknowz How likely do you guys think these blocks will be registered September/October seeing that there is still no footpath on New Holland or trees, etc.. My guess is December I don’t think there is a path going down New Holland drive - the only thing they need to do is plant trees and spray grass seeds over the blocks - you think he would want his 24 million right ??? Aquire Property said there would be a path down New Holland, it looks like there is provisions for it as they laid the grass to the curb 6+ months ago and have left a gap between the taps and the grass. You would think so too wouldn't you. Re: Land Registration? Kellyville - Balmoral Road Release 216Aug 23, 2018 8:45 am ste982 How many of you guys are going to build straight away once registered?
