Kitchen, laundry, powder room and three ensuite cabinetry have been installed. All beautiful! I didn’t realise that the vanities were hung before tiling. This was not how our renovation was done. Are there any implications to waterproofing when done this way?
CSR confirmed with construction manager that vanities are hung before tiling. I did not think this was an industry standard. Other thank saving on tiles, does anyone know why they would do it this way?
I am also a bit concerned about this as being a wet area I would have thought fittings and bathroom furniture would go in after the whole area is tiled. This is also how we renovated our current bathroom
.We have a large mirror running the length of our main bathroom vanity. I wonder if this area is also not tiled?
