I had printed out a list of trees approved by council and highlighted botanical name as well as common name. As I don't have big trees at the front he was not too happy and I'd still have 17 Michelia Figo portwine magnolias at the front but as soon as he saw the back garden he just yell out " Well done, you pass Final OC" . He was very happy to see beautiful 9 Lilli Pilli, 1 Flowering Gum tree, 1 Japanese Acer, 1 Gymea Lilly, 1 NSW Christmas Bush and 3 Camellia Japonica as well as my Bromeliads on the fence. I'm not going to put expensive plants at the front where people will knock off. One of my neighbour had to stop a guy trying to take lemon tree from the front as I left it near driveway as soon as I heard that I moved all my big plants to the back. But hubby firmly said NO! He wants to keep nice clean look.... but I have no place to put clothes drying racks. The space outside of laundry is in between two double story houses so no sun and it is a thoroughfare from back of the house to the front.... so not enough room to put clothe lines. Hubby wanted to put shed 3m by 2m at the back of outdoor living area.... so there is no space there I don't like using dryer! I do have one for raining days. I do have fold away racks but these are useless for large bed sheets or blankets. Any advice? I’ve been told fabrics will last longer dried in the shade? We stilllll don’t have a clothes line up - been drying everything on those little racks inside a bedroom. They are doing the job and fairly quickly too. What about something like this? https://www.hillshome.com.au/our-produc ... etracting/ Re: Landscape design - KDR (sekisui house ) Burbank - ST Geo 258Jul 31, 2018 9:20 pm Thanks guys... for now I got a rope tided up between two outdoor living posts lol long enough for one bed sheet haha I think retractable like this type will be better ( link below ) as I can move it around, as well as use the small clothe racks that I have now. https://www.lifestyleclotheslines.com.a ... lothesline Build Thread : viewtopic.php?=31&t=81624 Landscape Thread : viewtopic.php?f=19&t=86133 Re: Landscape design - KDR (sekisui house ) Burbank - ST Geo 259Aug 01, 2018 3:34 pm We have used retractable clothes lines lots of times in the U.K. they worked really well! We didn’t consider them this time though because we really liked the fold down wall mounted one in our rental so just went with one of them.
