Most definitely. Glad they wont really be held up too much if it rains, except for the brickies.

We have some holidays planned in October as we'd assumed November handover, but if its early enough we should be able to move beforehand. SS is happy for us to get fencing done as soon as the scaff is down, so early September. Contacted the conveyancer for neighbour details; left hand side was easy but right hand side was "purchased under nomination". They also show no signs of starting their build, so hopefully we dont have any difficulties there. My plan is to take a week off once we have handover so we can get the backyard landscaped and move in. We need grass in asap due to the dogs. As far as I can tell its a matter of going over the soil with a rotary hoe, leveling it out, adding top soil then rolling out some grass. Some timber edging along the back for my garden bed (fruit trees!). Then we can worry about a path down the side and the front yard once we're in. Theyre keeping the site super clean so that should help. Just need to go spray the weeds along the back fence again when we get a chance. Hi blackcat20, Will you hire someone local to do your fence? I've sent quote requests to a couple of local companies. That's cool. Keen to hear your reviews once fence is complete. We are in the same estate and will be on the lookout for a professional to do our fence probably around October - November. Are you getting colorbond fence? Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 658Jul 10, 2018 7:04 pm blackcat20 Kimmykim Happy to see your progress! By looking at the pace, your plan of moving in shouldn't be a problem. I was told 23 weeks from frame starting so I was thinking early November. Booked our furniture for late november just to be safe....so late September/early October was a (pleasant) shock! Will have to see if we can get furniture moved up the scheduled once we have confirmation of hand over. Timing works out well otherwise, just have to beg for some time off work. My niece is also going to build the Winchester. Where abouts are you located again? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 659Jul 10, 2018 7:06 pm Doulton777 blackcat20 Kimmykim Happy to see your progress! It pays to show your State in your avatar.
