Council approval early this year, hoping to start demo in the next couple of weeks, ie way before the new year! If we are further delayed till then I’ll just curl up into a ball on the floor right now. We’ve selected our builder and they’ve actually done quite a bit of prelim work for us already, however we haven’t formally signed with them, so I don’t want to mention them by name yet. Builder has recommended a Boral Fire rated wall product and claimed the acoustics dampening between the two walls will be similar to double brick. Can anyone comment that this is the case?
