We had our heart set on timber floors but as we are havinghydronic heating/cooling in the slab the range is limited (a selection of engineered oak) none of which we really loved when we went to the showrooms.
We did however see a number of hybrid floors that we liked the look of (which I wasn’t expecting). Particularly the Karndean Korloc and the long (1.8m) GF Napier.
But what are they like to live with? Are they quiet? Do they look “fake” when you have a lot of it?
