Cant transfer the payment online and they want $30 to do it over the phone. What crazy bank things a $10k transfer limit is sufficient? I had no trouble with my own bank getting my transfer limit changed to $100k when I needed to move our deposit.... On the flip side, you'll be "impressed" if someone does get your bank details and can only transfer 10K out of your account before you get notified I know it's a hassle hey. With my usual bank you call and increase the limit, make the transfer, then decrease it again, so its not such an issue. This bank will only let you do a smaller amount and charges a fee to assist. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Framing 585Jun 20, 2018 2:39 pm Westpac took 1 phone call, and a confirmation of a number they sent me via SMS to increase or limit to $150k/day. Had completed the transfer before I finished talking to the guy Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Framing 586Jun 20, 2018 2:41 pm Drew01 Westpac took 1 phone call, and a confirmation of a number they sent me via SMS to increase or limit to $150k/day. Had completed the transfer before I finished talking to the guy And that's why Westpac is my day to day bank. No issue at all increasing my limit to move money to our loan offset (different bank). ANZ on the other hand.... We're early week 7. Frame is pretty much finished, just a few tiny bits to finish on the garage. Fascia and gutters going on today. Plumbing rough in to start today, expected to be finished Monday. Roof to start Monday. They are going to do a "reverse build"; inside will happen at the same time as bricking, so we can expect the lock up and fixing invoices to arrive at the same time, Tiling, painting etc is expected to be underway at the end of July. Very pleased with how its all moving along. Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Framing 589Jun 21, 2018 11:11 am blackcat20 Got my weekly report from the SS today. We're early week 7. I hope our build goes as efficiently once we FINALLY get there! lol Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Framing 590Jun 21, 2018 11:16 am Yeah I'm really pleased so far. Got my frame inspection report this morning also and only a few small fixes which the SS was already aware of. A couple of studs slightly out of plumb and a few extra nails needed in places on the upper level. And a minor fix required where the ensuite shower is.

Our pouring of slab is scheduled on next Thursday and we are engaging a private home inspector as well. Thinking your experience might give us a hint of what to expect. Thanks! Thanks! based on our build so far, and how good our site manager and Group 4 reports have been, I wouldn't bother with an independent inspection for our build. My builder mate has agreed with the couple of things that have been picked up on, but said they weren't show stoppers either Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Framing 594Jun 22, 2018 9:00 am Drew01 Kimmykim Not far from next stage! This is our 1st time building a home as well. We reckon we should get a private home inspector to ease our mind. Work has started since Monday and how I wish I could be there to see the progress!
