They probably have more to do downstairs, I haven’t got any idea. It just looks done to me. I bet your husband was happy as down time spells doom for us blokes. You girls including my wife and shops are joined by the hip lol I can’t wait for a roof and wrap. I’m scared from the winter here in adelaide as it’s been good so far. Don’t need the blast just yet [/quote] Maybe ducklings was a bit light and fluffy, they are like a stampede of wild rhinos. Holy crap 8 framers, no wonder your powering through, I have 2 dudes I’m coming to check out your frames now. I just been reconciling my shed invoices and realized I over paid them FFS 🤦🏼♀️. Doom indeed I drove into the Gold Coast with my eldest and we shopped up a storm at Pac Fair and I got some lovely things, my fav is the giant cow hide send your wife along to H&M home and Zara Home they have some lovely things, Myer also have amazing sales on fragrance defusers (I think I can here you shaking from here ) do you have TK Maxx? I love that shop oh and Kmart, who doesn’t love Kmart. I remember Tomcat building through winter and it was a little tough, if you can get to lock up before the rain starts it would be a bonus. Winter is the best time to build here as it very rarely rains (touch wood) Re: Bold Living Acreage build, Scenic Rim QLD - Slab Stage 627May 22, 2018 10:26 pm nicolawhitelaw Um your comment about the bed and hubby hating the cushions and throws ‘he can eat I make the bed’ I have this exact argument with Justin most nights when he throws my pretty stuff off. I can’t wait to see the sky light it seems to be a common occurrence with the men. I did catch the Mr a sleep under one of the “50 million bits of fluff” (aka throw rug) over the weekend as he is sick with the flu. I tried not to rub it in that the throw is so cozy while you feel poorly. I think his words where go away you smug toad or I’ll wipe my nose on your throw rug Keep putting those cushions on they look awesome and they secretly love them Re: Bold Living Acreage build, Scenic Rim QLD - Slab Stage 628May 22, 2018 10:33 pm Agent_009 Thanks Tribe. We have decided on the Cloncurry design with Simonds. Looking forward to seeing your house progress We may need to live vicariously through you for a while haha. I just looked up the design, It’s a brilliant size and will run along your block just like you wanted. I really like the facade with the corbel brickwork and timber windows. Fingers crossed you won’t need to do that and you get a buyer really soon. How is your land progressing? Re: Bold Living Acreage build, Scenic Rim QLD - Slab Stage 629May 23, 2018 4:12 am So much happening Tribe, with the house and family. The house is looking amazing! I’m glad you won’t have any problems with your skylight position. I’m jealous of getting the pool done with the house. That’s the first thing I’ll be saving up for after moving in. Building our first custom dream home. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t It is pretty busy all the time, I like busy but I also like quite it gives me a chance do and make things for the house. I was pretty worried about the skylight location, so pleased it won’t be a problem. I’m really looking forward to the pool too, we haven’t had one for 3 years now and my kids have gone backwards with swimming . Our pool really wasn’t expensive. $35,500 and it’s a 10.3x4.2m Fiberglas pool. We have lots of piers and extra concrete so it would be even cheaper for you as you have far nicer soil than I do. How is the house shopping coming along? Have you been picking up items? Re: Bold Living Acreage build, Scenic Rim QLD - Slab Stage 632May 23, 2018 10:56 am Wow powering along tribe. I cannot believe the speed of the progress. Your kids are going to end up being architects, engineers, tradies and designers with all the onsite experiences they gain through this with you. Re: Bold Living Acreage build, Scenic Rim QLD - Slab Stage 633May 23, 2018 11:10 am Fantastic update Tribe! Your build is powering along now, and your kids are super cute... Its great getting them involved (I loved involving my boys) - their excitement just adds so much joy to the process. - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: Bold Living Acreage build, Scenic Rim QLD - Slab Stage 634May 23, 2018 2:38 pm nicolawhitelaw Tribe7 nicolawhitelaw Um your comment about the bed and hubby hating the cushions and throws ‘he can eat I make the bed’ I have this exact argument with Justin most nights when he throws my pretty stuff off. I’m jealous! Have you seen those black metal towel rack things at Kmart? I brought one to hang all on throw rugs on. Im a bit over the candles at the moment, I’m liking the reed stick things (im sure they have a fluffy name I just can’t think what it is) check out this whopper I got at Myer Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ It’s 1L and smells amazing. Price was $129.95 on sale for $57.00!!!! I normally buy the smith and Co ones but they where $49.95 for a little 160ml one. I can’t believe it’s been a year already, that’s gone so fast. Extremely exciting you have a wedding to plan though, what are thinking for your big day? Gosh we have been married 11 years soon . I get a bit bored too, no more babies in the House means I’m no where near as busy as I used to be. I can’t wait for the house to finish so I can garden, if you don’t like gardening I’ll be boring at bat **** to follow I always wonder what I should post on here pics wise? I’ve always tried to stick to the build but it might be a bit more fun to include the kids pics. I have 3 ‘reed stick things’ happening at the moment. *insert real name here* I love the organic brand at Coles it’s only $17 (no idea if it’s actually organic it just smells good) lol and it’s subtle enough to keep in our bedroom and ensuite without it hitting you in the face when you walk in like some over powering ones!! No date set in, we’re getting married in Bali. It will be May 2020 that’s all I know! Lol engagement party in November and then save the dates will go out and give our guests 1.5 years to save or stay behind. We go in August to meet our planner and lock it all in. I have sooo many screen shots in my phone for inspo omg 11 years!!!!! But I know this last year has flown so I guess I better get used to blinking and it being another month gone. I don’t garden - I have great intentions to garden then decided to do other things or start the job and make Justin finish it hahaha Re: Bold Living Acreage build, Scenic Rim QLD - Slab Stage 636May 23, 2018 6:47 pm Fragrance Diffusers Love all the photos tribe, coming along really nicely! Agree I really like getting the kids involved, we let them pick the pool shell colour the other day . Can’t wait to see all your updates photos. Full time shift work, three kids and building a house and I don’t have much down time these days. Our soil is H1 clay so I think we might need extras for the pool as well. Call me crazy crazy lady but I’m toying with the idea of project managing my pool installation myself to try and do it a bit cheaper and achieve it sooner because we want to pay cash for it. I’ve started doing a bit of research into it. I haven’t done any shopping . I have done lots of online window shopping but haven’t bought anything lately. I bought a heap of towels and bath mats and hand towels from Sheridan at the beginning of the build and now I think they won’t match my new tiles so I’m trying to stop myself from buying anything until we get in. Owh I love the stronger smelling ones but we have 7 bodies in the house, 3 dogs, lots of cooking smells and a cockatiel and parrot who like to sit on the kids shoulders.
