Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 129May 16, 2018 7:25 am bestspecials We have walls and ceilings. And Goop on the Windows, so now all the windows look frosted. Can really get a good idea of the rooms and space. Bricks are stacked all round the house. I can't believe they gyprocked the whole house in 2 days. I have a feeling we will have bricks by the weekend. Will post photos on the weekend. I think we got the 'gun' team of tradies. Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 132May 20, 2018 3:38 pm Another week and more progress. This week has seen gyprock to all walls and ceiling, plastering to entire house and today (Sunday) there was a man onsite doing the cornices. It is great to see how the rooms are coming together and the actual size and very happy with how much sun the outdoor area is going to get in Winter. In Summer, the sun will be on the other side of the house. The height of the ceiling in the outdoor area seems really high. Waaaaay better than the almost plastic bag type material on others in the street haha i'm excited to see your bricks go up, this week yes? Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 135May 21, 2018 10:16 pm Bi jingoes!!! Look, its an actual house!!!! How awesome does it all look? Im so glad we are copying you and taking our concrete out to under the eaves - it looks enormous! Im guttered we didnt add our outdoor area slab with coral 😔 because we left it out, we cant have a lovely level outdoor area like yours! There has to be a step - which i didnt want. P.s - is it bad to have a higher ceiling outside? I love the height! Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 137May 22, 2018 7:02 pm Dylandbrooke Bi jingoes!!! Look, its an actual house!!!! Now I just need to talk to the tiler and see if he can match the grout lines from inside to outside. I reckon that would look awesome. And yes, the outdoor area feels really big with the high ceiling. Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 138May 22, 2018 7:04 pm bestspecials Dylandbrooke Bi jingoes!!! Look, its an actual house!!!! My hubby looks really little standing out the back Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 139May 23, 2018 8:00 pm This week looks really exciting but that comes with a really big invoice from Coral. So today they started bricking and they have done nearly the whole house. It's a new style called patchwork bricking. LOL!! It is being rendered. So, can't wait to see what it looks like on the weekend. Re: Coral Homes - Grange 25 (Newport) 140May 23, 2018 8:14 pm are you doing render to the entire house? I'm hoping we have walls by the weekend on ours, i'll be surprised if anything else happens haha Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 15191 Hi so sorry for the late reply. I already contacted them and they wouldn't tell me instead they tried to get me to talk to one of their home coordinators and I'm not… 2 6678 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 110963 |
