I *LOVE* all your selections! You must be so happy. Wish I was feeling 100% confident with ours. I think not knowing prices for a lot of ours is making it difficult. Where are you having the laminate flooring and what was the upgrade to cat 2 price? Ours is cat 2 but we asked for it in bed 1 & wir. Had to go back to carpet in bedroom to find extra $$$ for our paint. What category are your floor and grey wall tiles? Could I please have the name and size of the wall tile? If ours come back too expensive we need something to fall back on. Thanks! Laminate floor is throughout the living area. Bedrooms are carpeted. Cat 2 Laminate costed us $4560. Floor and wall tiles are all cat 1. Wall tiles are Uni-wall range, 1004766 - Light Grey Gloss 250x400 Thnx I really like them. Will go and check them out at Beaumont Tiles. Did you say you added hinged doors to all wir's? If so how much? Re: Fairhaven Homes 97May 14, 2018 7:51 pm Bronte19 Got a quote from Darbecca today. Around $4500 for full package. Unfortunately we don't have a budget for it. Does anyone know what stages are most important to get it done by independent site inspector? We also had a quote from Darbecca and we asked the same question! Whilst they said they were all important, they told us the most common inspections were: 1. Pre pour/ Steel inspections 2. Frame inspection (and complimentary slab inspection) 3. Pre plaster 4. Final Inspection We're likely to do these 4 inspections. Fortunately, my father in law is an engineer so he's happy to help out with the other stages. Re: Fairhaven Homes 99May 15, 2018 10:01 pm JCM1 Bronte19 Got a quote from Darbecca today. Re: Fairhaven Homes 100May 15, 2018 11:04 pm Bronte19 Hinged door to WIRs are around $200 each. We changed to sliding door to master wir it was around $350. We added a sliding door as well $384. Think that's very expensive! I have asked how much to have no architraves on that door. She said to ask at tender. Haven't added doors to the other bedrooms yet.
