Can't believe how quick it's gone Thanks Nicolac, we’re really happy with it, we can’t believe it either 😁 so excited, such a shame about your tiles I really hope you can find something you love, but disappointing they didn’t order them prior to needing them 😩 Re: HGWA Baldivis 130May 15, 2018 10:35 pm Decided to pop down tonight before it got dark, tiling started yesterday the splash back for the laundry is in, and it looked like the floor tiling had been laid in the ensuite and they started our main floor tile 😁 We also got an updated time line for the rest of our build 🤞🏻 There’s no delays with our QCI possibly being next month and an estimate for PCI for end of June/first week of July definitely feeling very excited, Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: HGWA Baldivis 132May 17, 2018 9:33 am Choosy You must be looking forward to your next to visit. Good luck trying to stay away 😄 hope it all goes as planned Re: HGWA Baldivis 134May 17, 2018 8:08 pm Hi Summitlovin I’m struggling to get down there at the moment gets dark too soon 😩 and keep getting excited for the weekend to see the progress 😂, I kinda hope it does but if it’s delayed I’m not overly fussed our lease ends mid-late August but the other half has a list of things to do before we can move in. 😂 and I’m trying to organise the solar panels for when he does the painting etc, I want to go shopping but waiting for the sales to start 😩 Re: HGWA Baldivis 135May 17, 2018 8:54 pm vanessah2015 Hi Summitlovin I’m struggling to get down there at the moment gets dark too soon 😩 and keep getting excited for the weekend to see the progress 😂, I kinda hope it does but if it’s delayed I’m not overly fussed our lease ends mid-late August but the other half has a list of things to do before we can move in. 😂 and I’m trying to organise the solar panels for when he does the painting etc, I want to go shopping but waiting for the sales to start 😩 Always good when you have time and not pressured into moving quick. The coordinating of everything when you’re not 100% sure when you will have keys is definitely a challenge but it helps when those you hire are flexible! I picked myself up a couch for $499 down from $1000 on Monday. Stoked as I didn’t want to spend more than $800 when I’ve just got a kitten that is definitely in the scratching stage Re: HGWA Baldivis 136May 17, 2018 9:18 pm Summitlovin vanessah2015 Hi Summitlovin I’m struggling to get down there at the moment gets dark too soon 😩 and keep getting excited for the weekend to see the progress 😂, I kinda hope it does but if it’s delayed I’m not overly fussed our lease ends mid-late August but the other half has a list of things to do before we can move in. 😂 and I’m trying to organise the solar panels for when he does the painting etc, I want to go shopping but waiting for the sales to start 😩 Always good when you have time and not pressured into moving quick. I feel you with kittens and the stratching stage our kittens about 4-5 months now our dining chairs are pleather and we have a leather bed head was really not the smartest furniture decision we’ve made! But you bagged yourself a bargain! Ikea was going to be my next go to. What is on your list of things to do? Re: HGWA Baldivis 138May 17, 2018 10:38 pm Always good when you have time and not pressured into moving quick. We got a few quotes for blinds/ curtains but they were really expensive 8-10k we found curtain rails, sheers and block out curtains for under 1k at ikea We need to order our couches fell in love with both of them at Danks 😍 Thinking we might pick up our lamps and pendant light this weekend, Then waiting on the sales for our new microwave and a dishwasher, I’m so over hand washing dishes, I’m just not looking forward to getting quotes for the back yard, we’re thinking of hiring someone to compact it then roll the grass our selves 😫 Have you almost finished your list ? Hard to believe you’ll be in your home soon it’s really exciting ! Re: HGWA Baldivis 139May 17, 2018 10:56 pm vanessah2015 Always good when you have time and not pressured into moving quick. Do you have landscaping included for your front yard? The landscaper doing my front yard has a deal of 15% off if the backyard is done at the same time. I've got my pendant lights and outdoor lights on layby so still paying them off Got my bed on layby- still paying that off I purchased my fridge, cutlery and plates during the xmas sales Purchased my main room couch & my mum is giving me her spare couch which will go to the theatre Dining table mum is giving to me as she needs a smaller setting I've put a deposit down for lighting/cctv and solar panels Lined a friend up for my crossover Deposit paid for security doors & gate Painting is happening currently Lined someone up to put my antenna in NBN/foxtel i am still investigating In terms of landscaping i am happy to leave this until end of July/August and my family is happy to help me with that. Which is great as i have no idea about gardening like they do! I do know i want artificial grass out back though. Re: HGWA Baldivis 140May 17, 2018 11:35 pm I know I was getting so stressed 🙌 and they actually look pretty nice to, Yes we have front landscaping and fencing included, I know that I want to upgrade to I think it’s blue palamino grass (excuse the spelling) Layby is such a good way to it you don’t have to worry about everything taking up all the space, we pretty much have everything else it’s only a year old so can’t upgrade for a while 🙂, that’s really nice of your mum parents are amazing with things like that, I honestly haven’t even thought about the atenna something else to add to our list 😩, Haha I feel you with gardening I really don’t have a green thumb, I’m thinking planter box around one corner against the fence, to where we want to put the pool and two feijoa trees out the back. Have you got your fencing up already? I’ve spoken to one company about the side fence panel and the side gate but I think we need to wait so we can get a definite quote |
