Our front window to the house is really off centered inside, and not ‘barely noticeable from inside’ as described when they fixed the change. But it is what it is now Did notice a frame overhand in the master though, I’m assuming when we bring this up they will have something added to support it? Met our neighbour over the back, extremely lovely and nice to put a face to a name as she has been the one taking photos for us in between our visits Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / May 2nd - We have frames! 108May 08, 2018 9:26 am CC7 A couple of snaps of the frames, and also two issues... Won't be long and you will have a roof too. Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / May 2nd - We have frames! 109May 08, 2018 7:48 pm bestspecials CC7 A couple of snaps of the frames, and also two issues... Can't wait for the roof, and not just because it will stop the bird poop on the slab hahaha Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / May 2nd - We have frames! 110May 14, 2018 4:55 pm We went out on Saturday. Gutters and fascias were on. The issue with the overhang had been filled as our SS said would happen. He told us early this week our roof would be finished and the crack near the portico will be filled when the windows went in, and judging by the photo our neighbour sent us just today, the roof is almost finished. And the windows are in! Didn't think it would happen so fast, so really pleased with the info he has been sending us prior Here's a back view of the roof/windows Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / May 2nd - We have frames! 113May 14, 2018 6:14 pm Dylandbrooke Its looking fab!!! Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / May 14th - Roof & Windows 115May 16, 2018 12:59 pm Went in for our sparky meet up this morning, SS dropped in too. Really happy with how things are going, we had only questioned about a toilet pipe being not in the center and if it would an issue with slight blockage later down the road. In email he told us that the wall faced toilets have lots of playing room, and they usually put a join piece on when they are a little off center, but did say it could be moved over. Super surprised to see it had been moved to the center when we rocked up there today. Really love our SS, he's honest and on top of things. data had been put in, roof was finished (fun seeing the whirlybird from inside) baths were in (shame there's no actual tap and you know, ...well walls, I would have loved a bath haha) Windows were all in and its great to see how big they really are. Front door was on! We only realised when we turned the hallway to leave haha Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / May 14th - Roof & Windows 117May 16, 2018 1:21 pm CC7 Went in for our sparky meet up this morning, SS dropped in too. Must be good taste. Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / May 14th - Roof & Windows 118May 16, 2018 1:36 pm Looking really good and soooo glad your SS is great. They do make all the difference! I do love your facade. Reallly wish i just bit the bullet and spent more on a better facade, like yours. It should let in some decent light Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / May 14th - Roof & Windows 120May 16, 2018 7:04 pm Dylandbrooke Looking really good and soooo glad your SS is great. They do make all the difference! I do love your facade. Reallly wish i just bit the bullet and spent more on a better facade, like yours. It was something we wanted from the beginning. While it isn't tiny, it's still one of the smaller houses Coral do, so we wanted the higher facade to create the illusion of something bigger and grander hahaha. I'm still in love with the island design and kitchen upgrades you did though, so I think you probably picked a great choice spending the budget there. I mean you do live inside the house, not outside haha *hopes my facade can't hear me "i still love you"* I'm just hoping our render colour and garage door look nice, I hope the contrast is enough between them both. That's one of those things where we are hoping it works out or we just mark it as 'things to know for next time' Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14139 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4367 yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5480 |
