Re: Our First Home - Building with Valeco in Brookhaven Esta 171Apr 23, 2018 8:02 pm They do feel like a good size, it’s only the 2 of us and our pets so.. we really don’t need the big space yet, even though I would have loved a bigger house. Re: Our First Home - Building with Valeco in Brookhaven Esta 172Apr 23, 2018 8:04 pm Hi breebarter, Have just found your feed, loving your plans and colour choices so exciting for you. We are building with Valeco aswell, just waiting for our final drawings (which are taking forever) so seeing your build progression has given me some hope again. Re: Our First Home - Building with Valeco in Brookhaven Esta 173Apr 23, 2018 8:06 pm Holy crap you guys will be moving in next week at this rate! Speeding along, hope they keep up for you Hopefully your neighbours builds speed along too when they build so you don't have to deal with it for too long. Never feel bad for photo spam I think I speak for everyone when I say we love it! Never feel bad for photo spam I think I speak for everyone when I say we love it! Crazy hahaha feels that way.. I’m sure it will have to slow down when lock up comes. I know.... the dreaded already moved in and trades at 5/6 every morning next door. Our First Home - Building with Valeco in Brookhaven Estate 178Apr 24, 2018 10:24 am Holy crap batman they are flying!! It’s slightly addictive to go and see the progress hey. We have plumbers today and I did a little squeal dance in the car . Stoked to see so much happening. Text your ss Bree, asking if the kitchen bulk head is framed or a false panel above the overheads. If they have missed it, it’s easier to fix now that now rather than when the cabinets are installed Re: Our First Home - Building with Valeco in Brookhaven Esta 179Apr 24, 2018 6:34 pm Usually the bulkheads are done by the cabinet makers. Most times this would be noted on your plans, but not always. Our First Home - Building with Valeco in Brookhaven Estate 180Apr 24, 2018 8:54 pm Tribe7 Holy crap batman they are flying!! I’m actually so loving this experience, it’s been so stress free (so far) I hope I don’t jinx myself lol Plaster was finished today! Cant give recommendations in general with that builder, but during the colour selection, this is honestly personal preference. Depends on the style you want. Do you want… 1 1031 I second taking your plans elsewhere. They're yours (unless you ended up in one of those cheaper arrangements where you don't own the rights and the build will be tendered… 2 447 |
