We met our SS on Thursday morning, the site had been cut. He said all the work would start on Monday (yesterday) and the slab should be done by Friday. We are going to head out late sunday arvo to check it out going to be strange to see something other than dirt on the lot hahaha oh and our neighbours went ahead with a fence, but they put in the retaining wall so that's a bonus, as it was something we were worried about doing. Our SS said we may need a very small one on the other side It's so exciting to see something happening. Only a few days apart between our builds. yesss we should have such close building times. You guys got such a good head start, show offs haha Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / START DATE: April 11th 79Apr 19, 2018 5:45 pm We are soooo grateful to have our soon to be neighbour over the back snap a progress shot for us, as unfortunately we can't make it out on the weekend. This side of the house is extremely narrow, thank goodness the other side isn't as narrow haha - keen to go out at some stage next week to check it out, I know angles can be an illusion with photos Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / START DATE: April 11th 80Apr 20, 2018 7:15 pm How awesome! You're on your way now... exciting. And how lucky are you to have great neighbours to snap progress pics for you (you're also lucky re the fence and retaining wall 😉) One side of our house is narrow also - like yours! Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13773 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5324 |
