We met our SS on Thursday morning, the site had been cut. He said all the work would start on Monday (yesterday) and the slab should be done by Friday. We are going to head out late sunday arvo to check it out going to be strange to see something other than dirt on the lot hahaha oh and our neighbours went ahead with a fence, but they put in the retaining wall so that's a bonus, as it was something we were worried about doing. Our SS said we may need a very small one on the other side Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / START DATE: April 11th 75Apr 18, 2018 6:50 am CC7 bestspecials So, what's happening? Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / START DATE: April 11th 76Apr 18, 2018 8:26 am I love the Avoca build am hoping to do either the 23 or 25 in the next year, hopefully. Am wondering what was the upgrade cost for the Oyster for the benchtop, as we are also in love with that benchtop. Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / START DATE: April 11th 77Apr 18, 2018 10:12 am mrs.jessica I love the Avoca build am hoping to do either the 23 or 25 in the next year, hopefully. Am wondering what was the upgrade cost for the Oyster for the benchtop, as we are also in love with that benchtop. We looked at so many displays and plans without finding anything we loved that wasn't too massive. When my cousin told me he built with Coral, i found the Avoca plan and it looked amazing, we were surprised to find they had a display of it too, and we were sold as soon as we saw it in person. It's really lovely isn't it? It's been really popular too apparently We love the master bedroom, the wide hallway at the entrance, the media room with only two extra bedrooms. Even if you didn't go with Coral, i'd be taking some of the ideas for the plans haha I just looked to get the exact price of the Oyster benches, and for both (island and stove area) in 20mm it was a total of $414. We were quoted $450 so it came back cheaper. We have no regrets about upgrading to that colour, and we don't even have a slab yet haha Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / START DATE: April 11th 78Apr 18, 2018 10:16 am bestspecials CC7 bestspecials So, what's happening? You guys got such a good head start, show offs haha Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / START DATE: April 11th 79Apr 19, 2018 5:45 pm We are soooo grateful to have our soon to be neighbour over the back snap a progress shot for us, as unfortunately we can't make it out on the weekend. This side of the house is extremely narrow, thank goodness the other side isn't as narrow haha - keen to go out at some stage next week to check it out, I know angles can be an illusion with photos Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral Homes / Avoca 23 / START DATE: April 11th 80Apr 20, 2018 7:15 pm How awesome! You're on your way now... exciting. And how lucky are you to have great neighbours to snap progress pics for you (you're also lucky re the fence and retaining wall 😉) One side of our house is narrow also - like yours! Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13940 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4364 yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5393 |
