The new ones are mini cogs, another type of acacia. Got them at Gardenworld in Dingley. Also Pots Galore next door to Gardenworld has great stuff. You would have to get in line to get her back. Everyone falls in love with her and wants to take her home! We are going through the teenage phase so she can be a brat! Climbing curtains, knocking over pot plants (then weeing in the dirt), taking off out the door under our feet, bolting up the retaining wall and racing to the house behind to stare in their windows . She's lucky she still gives lots of love . She still gets on well with the rabbits but I'm very cautious, she likes to bite their tails and bop them on the nose, I'm not sure how much they'll tolerate of that before they decide enough is enough! And you were going out and leaving her home alone when? PP I bet everyone wants her!! She's stunning. Hehe, they can be bratty when they are kittens. My poor pot plants are STILL recovering from them. My new kittens haven't been out of the cat room yet, but I'm sure they'll be just as much trouble. Her litter was really just the most fun, I miss having them running all over. I'm so glad she got a lovely home (and I get to see updates!!!) Unfortunately have never heard from the boys new homes. I hope they are okay ;-; Oh dear, she sounds like she's having a bit too much fun with your poor bunnies XDD cheeky girl. Shows how a bit of love and work does the trick! congrats!! We almost bought home a black and white cat over Easter weekend... but there was a grey tabby that was bonded to him in the same pen... so we weren't ready for a pair of cats... I wish we'd gone a bit slower originally as I'm basically redoing most of it, so wasted a bit of money. But I love how it is now D Finally feel like its finished so to speak. Just grass patching and a garden bed out the back to go. Plus building my herb/veggie garden, but that's gonna be in Spring. Inside its really just some artwork. Feeling very happy with the house overall. Still chasing the builder to come back and fix defects ;-; probably a lost cause. Aww, kitty!! If you want two cats in future, it can be useful to get two that are already friendly (not much more work and they entertain each other XD). Mine took 6 weeks to stop hating each other, but growing up our cats never stopped hating each other XDD I still want a third kitty, but I don't know.. I go back and forth on the idea. For now just focused on getting my fosters good homes Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - Long journey nearly over! 2877Apr 08, 2018 6:20 pm ruraldoc Love your landscaping! They kinda of entertain each other and hang out. You should consider it! aloenyx love the changes you made how nice to look out the kitchen window and see your herbs. Looks nice! I want a third kitty! Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - Long journey nearly over! 2879Apr 12, 2018 10:04 pm I'm gonna steal your herb wall idea if I can make it work!! We planted our orange tree today... feels nice to start getting our hands dirty on our land! But still so much work to be done... hehe. We are also building a short rock retaining wall at the front so we can finally plant our little family trees! (Will post them on my thread if I stop being so lazy and occupied to take photos....) On the cat front... I discovered that there are a triplet of feral tortoise-shell cats living undr the rubbish bin of our local servo... told my wife (as our last cat was a tortoise-shell) she almost went for it... from wanting only 1 cat to almost 3 !! They are teenage/juvenile cats though... I convinced against that! I have a dwarf that Ive potted out the back and a lemon tree. Yes photos please!!! This is my back yard. Plan is to put in a garden bed all along the back fence, maybe 50cm wide. Im then thinking sonething big and grassy along the bottom with 4 trees spaced along. No idea what plants to use though. You need to trap them and they can be quite dangerous. Best left to the experts. Torties are gorgeous though I wanted a tabby, now have a tortie and love them.
