Our WIR is suppose to be 3500mm long (we specified this to suit IKEA pax).. I have just measured and it is 2cm smaller from wall to wall.. will they do anything about this??? 🤦🏼♀️ It will be the plasterboard. I asked for our niche to be 350mm high, thinking they would make that the final measurement after plaster and tiles but unfortunately it’s not. It’s a real shame when you specifically ask for something and it’s not what you get. That is so unfair! I literally have an email saying it needs to be 3500 to fit our wardrobe fit out, and the consultant didn’t say you need to allow 2cm for plasterboard how would we possibly know that 🤬 so now I’ll have to pay an extra $1000+ to get a custom wardrobe fit out grrrrrrr Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10720Apr 03, 2018 8:44 am StephLee xjanex StephLee Help with internal sizing! Ours is a u shape so we have put in a 1m in middle and the new cnr units either side and then ran another down each side, I will put shelves on any spare walls for shoes & we will pack it out to fill gaps if needed at front where noticeable or see if space big enough to utilise for something else. It is frustrating ikea have also changed their cnr units since we first planned this which is a shame but it will still be much better and cheaper than any option C could give us You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 8562 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 7212 Hi, Apologies - I know there is plenty out there on this but struggling to put together the puzzle.
