Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 29, 2018 6:26 pm Hi everyone We have gone through our selections process and have been having a bit of a hard time with it all. We were told we would get to review breakdowns of costs for each selection and they would be emailed out to us. This only happened with one of them which we picked up numerous errors on it I understand the quote goes to the builder and then they review and mark it up to add in their costs components but is it normal process to be given almost no inidication of costs over the whole process? There will be a final meeting when we go over everything in detail, but i just cant see how this approach will work as it leaves us with almost no time to make decisions. To me its almost a waste of time as we could have everything organised prior to this meeting. Some of the things we added were significant upgrades that we would be happy to lose if they prove to expensive!
