ID Thanks for creating the group. I also joined the group. Thanks Re: Anyone building in Plenty Gorge Views estate, South Mor 257Mar 08, 2018 3:02 pm I also feel this is such a joke and so disappointing... I feel like this house is never going to get done. Honestly by the time we get a letter compliance we are unlikely to get titles this month which means next month titles and land settlement which is pushing it ( I don’t know about you guys but our bank offer is only valued for 6 months and then we have to reapply with payslips) then permits which take 6-8 weeks so looking at starting in May/June which means the changes of moving in this year are looking slimmer and slimmer ![]() Re: Anyone building in Plenty Gorge Views estate, South Mor 258Mar 08, 2018 10:16 pm There is another audit in 11 days. As it has happened, there might be faulty items again. Each time the audit is not successful, it takes 3 weeks for its next audit. So, I guesstimate we should allow another two months for confirmation for successful audit. Also we should allow 1 month after that for title (10 days from council, 2 weeks in title office). All with the assumption that the only problem is electricity audit. Anyway, with a look at other projects by Moremac, this small project is not that bad. Some projects took more that 2 years. ( http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2498970 ) I am disappointed about how we are treated. David knew this history might happen. It was disguised among other "lawful" statements to protect themselves. For sure, it has caused troubles for most of us by introducing chaos. I think in many professions in Australia we have much higher standards for costumers. However, Moremac taught us that we cannot expect it in all professions.
