My wife really like the tumbled, rustic look of the wintergold brick, but i'm not sure how well it ties into the whites and greys that I like. Cheers, Matt Hi Matt, Its a soft combination, will look really nice with your touches of timber. Re: Colour questions? 175Jan 12, 2019 5:52 pm Hi Michelle Our facade is based on this home. The house will sit on an acre - It's in the country - keen on the monument roof and gutter. What colours do you suggest for the render x 2 and cladding? I like the dark bottom and lighter top but would also be willing to try something darker. The options I am considering are: Roof - basault (monument maybe a bit dark?) Gutters - same as roof Fascia - same as roof Garage doors - surfmist Facade - ghosting half (units 1 & 3), ghosting (unit 2) Piers - I am struggling with what would look best here but have considered a light colour tile such as travertine or just leaving them rendered. Windows - aluminium ultra silver Doors - timber with glass slats (possibly horizontal slats units 1 & 3 and vertical slats unit 2) As the units are narrow I am thinking lighter colours on the facade would work best and I want to try and use colour to enhance the impression of width. Also do you think it would be best to keep all units the same colour or possibly with unit 2 having a slight contrast to the others? I am open to any suggestions you may have and appreciate your help. See above in your post for my colour reply.
