Re: the tree: Look for natives a bottle brush would be gorgeous (what size are you talking? callistemon kings park special comes to mind but there are soooo many small flowering native trees around)

It’s been a crazy 8 months but we’ve really settled into our home. There’s still so much we need to do and I especially want to find some nice prints for the walls. We’re still on the hunt for a special pendant light for the raised ceiling at the entry and one for our master bedroom.
There are still plenty of things we want to get done outside, I want to introduce some raised garden beds to frame the whole outer perimeter and to create further privacy. I’m also desperately looking for a pretty tree for the front garden, it needs to be happy in full sun but not too big, something of a flowering, weeping variety would be great.
