We have no NBN box in the garage, just phone points in the garage and one in the house for NBN, can we connect our modem to this when we get our Telstra NBN package? Once Coral has installed the NBN do we need to do anything extra before it goes live or is it ready to run and set up a service order? Thanks in advance for the help This is our package: Telecommunications Provide NBN Package #1 wiring for fibre optic network in lieu of standard including the INCLUDED following: * Provide lead-in conduit and drawstring from communications pit at property boundary adjacent power box to external wall adjacent to electrical meter box. * Provide conduit through slab into brick cavity. * Provide connection to 'exposed' NBN communication equipment within garage. * Provide one (1) single power point to internal wall of garage. * Provide one (1) data point with wall plate to lounge room adjacent bedroom 3. * Provide one (1) phone point with wall plate to family room adjacent left hand elevation. Please Note: The Owner is responsible to arrange connection with their chosen service provider. Hi Hudson House, You will need to contact a service provider to finish off the NBN installation (Your service provider will organise the NBN team to run the actual cable into the house from the pit). That will get the NBN to the outlet in your garage etc. Then best leave it for the tech experts to answer what to do from that stage Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10406Feb 05, 2018 10:55 am mrbiggens Hudson House Hudson House Hi everyone we have just moved into our house and looking at getting our NBN set up, we are fibre only no broadband. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10407Feb 06, 2018 12:00 am Hello Everyone, I have been lurking on the site for the last two months and I have found it really helpful. I have decided to build with coral when the land finally registers. Has anyone ever made changes to a two storey house with coral? I love the Monash 32 but need a room down stairs for media or a guest room. Any sort of help or feedback would be welcome. Thank you Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10408Feb 06, 2018 4:36 am z M Y C U S T O M C O R A L B R O N T E 43 ...............Kitchen! 16 Nov 2016 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79581 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10409Feb 06, 2018 2:28 pm Hi guys, wondering if anyone can help me out please When we signed our contract we noticed the ensuite cabinet/stone had a small gap either side. We asked in a variation to be sent with the contract for it to make sure it's flush against the wall It came back not flush, and we have only just now got a reason "this is not possible, Need a minimum of 10mm allowance for expansion of stone" Is this a new thing?? The display ( Avoca 23 ) has it sitting flush against the wall. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10410Feb 06, 2018 2:31 pm Hmmmm.... 10mm isn't much, they may have gone 5mm on either side and the siliconed the gap? Maybe ask if they can come down to 5mm and silicon the gap as it will expand and contract as necessary? Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10411Feb 06, 2018 2:46 pm bakes Can anyone advise or share pictures of the coral homes standard grout colour. Codes or names even? We were told it was grey for floor coverings at beaumont, however ours looks like an off white colour. Beaumont paper work just says std!! https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10412Feb 06, 2018 2:52 pm Some good news to report, our construction officially starts in 1 week! I was hoping silicone could fill the gap. We just don't want to be stuck with this awkward little gap that looks unfinished, it will annoy us so much thanks for the reply. Looks like ours should be flush like yours I don’t understand why they couldn’t just tell there’s going to be a piece to cover the gap and it will look flush haha Thanks again! You are amazing Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10418Feb 06, 2018 3:38 pm That's cool I'll send you one soon with the stone but it doesn't have to have a gap. Don't get me wrong the cabinetry seems to have a gap but it's then hidden but he stone once installed. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10420Feb 06, 2018 3:41 pm Omg sorry for all the spelling mistakes so just to confirm as the last messages don't make sense lol you won't see a gap it will look exactly like your picture that you posted the stone will hide the gap in the cabinentry 😀 You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14099 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13769 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish.
