Oh no - thanks not good - what stage are you currently at with your build. Any update with when you will have a roof. I hope that it's very soon. Nothing happening on site for us. it's a killer, isn't it Bri - waiting so long to build to then have them stop over Christmas. Your tradies will be back soon. We were hoping the brickie would be on site this week. Fingers crossed for next week. In the meantime we’ve started shopping, lol Nice. Shopping is so hard to resist at the moment - especially with all the sales are on. Do you have storage to stash the goodies or are you putting them on layby? I'm just glad that I've worked through the holidays otherwise, it could be very dangerous for the bank account. We picked up washer, dryer and dishwasher at the sales and they are stashed in the garage at the rental. The couch's and sofa bed we like aren't on sale so we can order then closer to time leaving enough time for them to come in. Found a bed for DD1 yesterday and was able to layby it. DD2 has picked a bed elsewhere. Going there tomorrow. They will only layby for a month so that give us time to make some more room in the garage, lol The hardest one is trying to work out window coverings! We're umming and ahhing over roller shutters. Re: KDR - Henley Reserve (MainVue) - Aegean38 - Locked out! 315Jan 04, 2018 7:20 pm Bri, You did shop! What did do with hubby whilst you went on a mad rampage. Nah just mucking about. Oh no don't you dare talk about window coverings, I love so many styles and then look at pics of the house and dislke everything. I'm still working through carpet and laminate. Whilst I'm having anxiety over these things, hubby is talking about concreting all around the house, wanting to cover over the alfresco area and turn that into another room (no, no, no) and then he has copies of the site plan and keep re-designing the front and rear gardens. I on the other hand have hit the point where I can't make decisions anymore. I think that here is where I need to stop typing and breathe. I think we are just about good for the big furniture items until we move in. Then we'll worry about anything else we need/want. Window coverings are my current headache. Security shutters and sheers or block outs......... ahhhhhh Then I need to start thinking about fencing and driveway. Thankfully our flooring choices are done. We haven't even thought about yard really yet. Not that we are going to have much. It's all giving me a headache, lol Ohhhhh noooooo. Tell him no changes lol Re: KDR - Henley Reserve (MainVue) - Aegean38 - Locked out! 317Jan 06, 2018 6:29 pm Went by the house today and thought I'd see if it was all locked up. Back slider was wide open and can't be locked - took the opportunity for a little walk thru. Plaster is all up including the cornices and the bath hobs are in. Place has had a sweep out and is really looking like a house. Here's a few progress pics.......... . Imagine what it will be like when the house is fully sealed. Re: KDR - Henley Reserve (MainVue) - Aegean38 - Locked out! 318Jan 06, 2018 7:05 pm It’s looking good. Great progress. We can’t sneak a look at ours yet. Cameras still in operation. Re: KDR - Henley Reserve (MainVue) - Aegean38 - Locked out! 320Jan 07, 2018 6:36 am Bri1234 It’s looking good. Great progress. The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 20303 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 14357 |
