Ensuite sinks and feature tile 5.) Front hallway 6.) Fibre connection and plugs 7.) Scullery It looks so good and we’re over the moon with it! We’re about 4-5 weeks away from keys at the moment. Nope. Didn’t think it was worth it as the only small places you would notice it will be in places that only we will see, it doesn’t bother me at all Re: M & C's First Build with HGWA - Eglinton 167Jan 14, 2018 9:49 pm Ah fair enough! If you can live with it, then why not would have made that ledge just that tiny bit better though IMO Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: M & C's First Build with HGWA - Eglinton 168Jan 14, 2018 10:01 pm just_a_draftee Ah fair enough! If you can live with it, then why not would have made that ledge just that tiny bit better though IMO Yeah I didn’t really notice it until after it was done, but it’s not the end of the world, you live and you learn I guess! Re: M & C's First Build with HGWA - Eglinton 169Jan 15, 2018 12:13 pm congratulations, everthing is coming along so nicely. We have also just signed up with homegroup for our second build. what is the name of your main floor tile? is that their standard 450x450 tile? is the colour a true grey or does it throw a greenish tinge? Re: M & C's First Build with HGWA - Eglinton 170Jan 15, 2018 1:41 pm JaNelly congratulations, everthing is coming along so nicely. We have also just signed up with homegroup for our second build. what is the name of your main floor tile? is that their standard 450x450 tile? is the colour a true grey or does it throw a greenish tinge? Oh congrats, we’ve really enjoyed our build so far! The floor tile is the Della Vita standard range 450 x 450 tile in I believe Urban Grey? If I can remember the name rightly!! I haven’t seen a greenish tinge to it so far but if I’m honest with you we haven’t been there enough at different times of the day to properly see. It’s a beautiful colour though Re: M & C's First Build with HGWA - Eglinton 171Jan 15, 2018 2:47 pm Thanks hun the tiles look great! we were offered to upgrade to the 600x600 for $990. im just worried that because its a smaller house we building that the bigger tiles will look silly. i really like the colour you have chosen in the 450s , its exactly the look i was after, there is a similar colour in the 600s but so hard to judge from 1 single tile how its going to look when they laid. were you happy with the way the tiling was laid? on our first build it wasn't such a good job but we didn't complain as we knew we were selling the house after it was built. Yeah we were told the bigger style tiles makes the print go a bit strange in some styles as it zooms it out or in, can’t remember exactly? But we were happy with the 450’s, they’re a good size! Yeah happy with the tiler, he worked over the Christmas break and did a great job and nice and quick too!
