We took it out but now regretting it... thanks in advance I don’t think you’ll be able to do that because your plans have been certified as is- I remember we deleted the alfresco slab from one set of plans to another, Coral forgot to get it signed off and the night before slab pour there was a big run around trying to get the new slab layout approved. I might be wrong but aside from approval issues Coral has had big issues with slabs being the incorrect size and it’s a massive expense to fix- so I doubt any site supervisor would let it happen as part of the main slab pour. Ah, that makes sense! Damn Are you going to deck or tile? If you deck it, not worn slabbing it really- and it might give you the ability to run your deck flush to your door jams. Either way before you cover your visual termite barrier make sure you get the termite mesh put in so you don’t void your warranty [/quote] Oh yes! I did not even think about that, only thought of driveway... who can install termite mesh? Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10231Dec 22, 2017 7:09 am Wow MrsJM, still following your build and despite all the issues you are having you still have the most amazingly beautiful home on this site - you should be very proud of your achievements, I hope you can enjoy a wonderful Christmas and fingers crossed everything is resolved finally in the new year - you have to get a break eventually!!! At least they know what needs to be done to maintain the warranty. They will also send you an updated house plan indicating where the mesh has been installed. You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14078 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13746 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1768 |
