Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 13, 2017 9:56 pm Hello. We have come to the part in our contract where we need to do some cost cutting - the wishlist has exceeded the budget! We have decided to focus our spend internally which means our beautiful Southampton façade is off the list at $18k. We will replace with the classic (and included at no cost) Metro façade instead. We still have a healthy budget for landscaping, so hoping we can add some wow factor there. Any suggestions on achieving a Hamptons look with the second façade? If you wanted to you could also ask what the cost would be for the pillar from facade one in lieu of the timber. Eg grey house, white trims, glossy black door. Garage door profile as pp suggested, to a “heritage” style, with maybe a row of windows on the top. Front facing gables as per the first pic.
