I actually feel a little sorry for my SS as these guys are clowns. You make a mistake, these things happen, you let the site supervisor know and at least it's only one small problem. But when you don't tell the site supervisor then it cascades (literally!) and causes more problems. How is it that these guys just completely lack common sense and responsibility? Thats why we use a volume builder. Imagine dealing with these muppets directly. Id probably want to throttle one of them. Our plaster started on Friday and we haven't received an invoice yet. Oopps sorry, yes, 30th November...so you've been plastered and no lock up invoice yet? How come our house was not properly locked up with missing and broken windows and we got invoiced already? That seems odd, I’d wait until it’s actually at lock up before paying. According to PD.. " Lock up stage – It looks finished from the outside! Your roof and brickwork is completed, plumbing installed, all electrical, security, ducted vacuum and heating and cooling fitted. BSS Group will head out to your block and do an independent quality inspection." Cant we challenge the invoicing queen if the building work has not reach the stage?
