I have built some garden boxes off the back of my house and want to crrectly drain them
I have purchased some 60mm agg pip and will run through the box but
There is no plan to put real plants in, the end result on the top will be white rock and small fake plants.
My plan is to
- Put gravel base in the bottom, about 50mm thick, across the top of the soil to form a base
- Install agg pipe, from left to right ensuring a slight taper down all the way (ill shape the taper with the gravel above)
- Put some 50 - 70mm crushed / recycled over the top of the agg pipe / gravel and bring up to about 50mm below the top
- Put ~50mm of white rock across the top for dressing (making it look like its only white rock)
Is this the cheapest option?
