Ceilings due to the start next week. Have saved some of the leftovers feature bricks we had sitting there for a letterbox later down the track. Should be a nice little feature I think! But when the plaster goes on and the ceilings are in it will look even better! Can't wait to see it with the windows in and ceilings and white set on, will finally be able to get the feel of all the rooms Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 70Nov 16, 2017 9:15 am Sure thing 😂 it'd be nice if they opened a few more of the access ways into the estate! Hopefully that's done by the time we are in as driving through the whole estate to get to the block sucks! Didn't expect them to be in yet but swung past today and was pleasantly surprised Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 72Nov 19, 2017 9:44 pm It’s coming along nicely! @Madora Dreamer Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 73Nov 22, 2017 10:25 pm Glass has gone in, but not sure why it did since the white set hasn't been put on yet? They've also installed my sliding door wrong as the opening panel is meant to be in the center and sliding towards the right, however they put it on the far left side. Going to contact the builder tomorrow. It’s really coming along now! @Madora Dreamer Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 75Nov 24, 2017 12:15 am I spoke directly with Affinity and they confirmed an error on their behalf and are fixing it ASAP, so that was some good news : We also changed our garage door to Colorbond Dune instead of Surfmist as I was really worried there was going to be too much white on the front elevation. This new colour ties in perfectly with our render colours Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: First Timer (Built By Momu @ Calleya) 77Nov 30, 2017 10:22 pm How exciting! I swung past last night and my white set was about 50% complete, which seems pretty slow for 4 days work :/ should be at lock up by end of next week I would imagine though! I don’t reckon they will be in by Xmas. They must be so cheesed off. It has been under construction since March. @Madora Dreamer DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair We purchased a 1960s property that is on timber stumps mostly, and a newer section is on concrete stumps. We had a building inspection initially and they reported some… 0 12913 Strong enough for what? For linen, absolutely. To climb on, no. I've got similar shelving in my garage and it holds a decent amount of weight. 900 wide shelves will carry… 1 4260 Probably a not bad thing to mention particle board should in case anyone else reading this got the two confused. 6 4977 |
