Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10021Nov 11, 2017 8:19 pm Wow ... looks lovely. I didn't even think of that. Our carpet dark as well and went in this past week. We took some cutoffs home to make sure we got what we paid for as we upgraded to gold range. i would hate to think what the standard carpet is like. When we picked ours it felt a lot more plush...this one not so much. Couldn't get in the house though...I hope it doesn't have anything protruding ...They must have stuffed up with the join if you can feel through it. What colour is your carpet? Our carpet is in and you can feel the pins in each doorway!! They hurt too! How is it supposed to be installed? Surely this isn't right. We upgraded our underlay and carpet. On the other hand it does look good. Carpet looks great! Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10023Nov 11, 2017 9:00 pm Jessiej BrownDog77 Those with tiled splash backs does it wrap around both ends or just one? & if only one does it look strange (uneven?) just thinking if we could ask to only have splash back and not ends tiled?!?! Any pics would be awesome We have the fridge cabinet on one side and plaster on the other side and we only have tiles on the back wall. I would of thought it had to go on the plaster side but I can't find anything to say it's supposed to go on that end. Our tiles are dark so I think it would look a bit funny coming around one side and not the other so I'm glad they left it. This will help down the track when installing the tv mount. The SS did this at no extra cost for us. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 |
