E.g. change of standard 60cm double dishwasher to wider 90cm? If you are looking at getting a special 90 cm dishwasher they might not even have them at PD, 90cm is not standard at all and if you want a specific 90 cm then you need to talk to Kitchen culture to make a wide enough cavity, don't do it though until you know exactly what dishwasher you want, I think there might be just 1 or 2 90 cm dishwashers in Australia. But if you are looking for a better 60cm dishwasher than what they are offering you, like me, just ask for a refund on the standard dishwasher (it was $500 for me) and buy a good one when you move in. I bought an amazing one from the good guys, would have probably paid twice as much for the same thing to PD. Other than dishwasher you can definitely upgrade any appliance that they offer you as standard. Wondering how the cables will be run post handover if all internal walls are insulated. Thanks. I am building a single storey house with the hope of saving some coin by doing electricals later on. Looks like that's not going to be the case:-( Re: Porter Davis homes 15774Nov 14, 2017 9:34 pm External tiles have been laid Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ - View my blog at www.waldorfgrangebuild.wordpress.com Re: Porter Davis homes 15775Nov 14, 2017 10:27 pm Are they simplicity Nero tiles ? Only to Terrace area though. We got Simplicity Dark Grey to Balcony and Terrace at no extra cost and Simplicity Nero to Porch for $638. They asked if we wanted Alfresco at an extra cost but we declined and will have decking instead. Tried to call but only getting the voicemail. Also followed up via email every week but no response Re: Porter Davis homes 15778Nov 16, 2017 5:04 pm I’d call the reception and explain you want to speak to your BC’s manager and don’t take no for an answer. No reply for weeks is completely unacceptable. Re: Porter Davis homes 15779Nov 16, 2017 5:07 pm sencillez Hi Everyone, Would you know who to contact/escalate to if your BC does not respond for weeks? Also followed up via email every week but no response Wow that's terrible. I don't have a number of who to escalate but I have spoken to managers before. I suggest ringing the main office and asking to speak to someone higher up. Three options 1 Ask the liquidator 2 Find another PD customer and ask the source of their report 3 Pay for new report 3 12182 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74219 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
