Do you think they can still fix issues with frame work? There's a hierarchy of standards and he's probably picked on one of the less important ones & what you will find is that the builders and Subcontractors don't even have copies of the relevant standards.They are also well informed by their association groups that building inspectors are perceived more of a nuisance factor meanwhile you are spending a bomb on reports... out of your pocket.Structural Non-compliance issues are a ticking timebomb and should be fixed immediately. ..I agree with once covered often forgotten and ignored, have it properly accessed and fixed ASAP. 3 options are 1.
