It will cost around $4000 - but double doors do give a wide entrance feeling for much less

Yes ! that's certainly a blessing in disguise & I'm hoping it doesn't delay the contracts. We paid $21,698 for fixed site costs plus an additional $3,026 for Council & OH&S .. so about $25K in total. PD were estimating around $19K for site costs & council requirements for building the Waldorf 44L on a Waffle slab. Re: Henley Reserve (Mainvue) - Cullen 45 .. My neighbor also built the Waldorf 48 (Prestige), so I got the PD sales agent to check their build and it was around $20K for theirs. Re: Henley Reserve (Mainvue) - Cullen 45 .. I was talking to my SS and he said we were lucky we started in july as now the trades cant keep up with the demand of houses in construction! We are now past that point so we are pretty muc right! But with all of this comes mistakes!! Re: Henley Reserve (Mainvue) - Cullen 45 .. It's the result of the boom - and therefore wide-spread across all the builders - even if you get a site start - it's not a guarantee they will have tradies follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Henley Reserve - Cullen 45 .. Disorganised Tender ! 39Oct 26, 2017 11:28 am JustMia Have they provided you with a new date for the contract? Congrats on building the Cullen. It's a terrific house! No.. no dates for contract yet ! They say it'll be 4 weeks from when Tender is signed as it takes that long for the contract drawings. Last time I checked, it was 5 weeks ! Also, the Tender document we got after 2 weeks had few quotes still missing, so it's gone back again. To make it worse, I enquired from the Admin about their 'Future Price Matrix' as the delay is on Henley's end. 'Future Price Matrix' states: Should construction commence after {date} due to delayed title release or other Owner caused delays, the Owner/s may incur additional charges by way of variation. They have tried washing their hands off from any issues on their end. Makes my blood boil that spending half a million dollars with someone would still get you this sort of service ! Re: Henley Reserve - Cullen 45 .. Disorganised Tender ! 40Oct 26, 2017 1:53 pm I was told by my SC that the price matrix didn’t really kick in from the date you signed, but from the date the next price rise happened. Is that when you were working it on? Either way, if it specifically says about the owner delays, hopefully you would be able to push it out if you push for it.
