He has plenty of spares and charges them in his radio. He still has dewalt tools which he bought as an apprentice and still going strong. Its no mystery Michelle, most DIYers do it taking the easy way out, especially bolting a plate to attach a pergola etc and wonder why a dynabolts wont tighten as they work loose in the soft mortar. Same with a light rawlplug that just turns in the mortar. That's why another poster suggested a masonry drill bit in a hammer drill to use on the brickwork. Not that heavy and with good masonary drill bits, drills easily through brick It has a had a hard life on a salt mine when i was on the tools and is still going strong, 14 years old. haven't even had to change the brushes.
