Should be getting the drawings back in the next day or so! Alongside the quote with all the changes we've made so far. Will post it once we do

We have a rough idea of what we want but it's hard not knowing the range we can select from for some things (such as tiles etc). Not sure if Tracey will give us a list of these things before the appointment or if it needs to all be decided upon then and there? Would be great if we could visit beaumont or something before hand and see them in person. You can definitely go to Beaumont and see them beforehand. Best to go to either Loganholme or Fortitude Valley stores as they work directly with Valeco and they can direct you to the tiles if you bring along your lists. Here is a link to download the list of tiles: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AkQ1Ycov5JVQ5GoG59HhJdHE9Urw Executive Tiles are standard. Premium Tiles are an upgrade. Just keep in mind these might be outdated? You can email Valeco for updated ones You're amazing, thanks Stacey. I'll email Tracey too, but at least this gives us a good idea of what to expect All of those tiles are still on the new list, with a couple of extra from the Valencia range Our First Home - Building with Valeco in Brookhaven Estate viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89162 Re: First Home Owner - Building in Springfield Rise 31Sep 25, 2017 10:12 pm I've decided colours is definitely a stressful stage haha. I don't want to get anything wrong and it's so hard to commit to something! We're struggling over going with tiles or taking the upgrade to timber flooring she's offering to throw in. My problem is that I'm in love with the big 600x600 and 300x600 tiles, but we got a quote back on upgrading to those and we really can't afford to stretch the budget that much. I had semi planned the kitchen based on going with 600x600 white tiles (white and wood look cabinets and using white/timber furniture) and now I'm starting to look at color schemes to match timber flooring so we have an option for both. Any ideas? I've been on pinterest all weekend and I'm still no further along than when I started haha. Just discovering more and more things I love but can't afford to do . I always say monochrome Haha coz I love monochrome. You could do a walnut colour wood and dark cabinetry: https://au.pinterest.com/pin/473089135848009953/ But I assume you probably like lighter colours. Could do the same thing but white instead of black. Ooooo nice!! That is awesome! We really want to get phillips hue bulbs. I think my partner planned on using strips in our office somewhere. Re: First Home Owner - Building in Springfield Rise 36Sep 26, 2017 5:00 pm Alot of our house is going to be hue hahah Kitchen pendants, bed room pendants, bedhead, under top kitchen cabinets, behind all the bathroom mirrors, under kitchen insland benchtop and above pantry shelving! Lol Re: First Home Owner - Building in Springfield Rise 39Sep 26, 2017 5:26 pm bananarama Not as incredible as your rugged concrete bench top! Lol Hahaha... yes.. well... it will be pretty sweet, I'm not gonna lie Hopefully it doesnt clash with the concrete floor though. That's the only worry - if it looks odd having two different "concretes". Sounds like you have lots of pendants though.. I'm very envious Re: First Home Owner - Building in Springfield Rise 40Oct 03, 2017 10:25 pm Sorry I've been a bit MIA, but can confirm we are official! Signed all the paperwork on Sunday! Just organising finance and then hopefully some full works drawings in the next few weeks. We've definitely taking a liking to minimalist/monochrome themes and now I think we're leaning towards basically fifty shades of grey haha! Actually went and saw the rugged concrete caesarstone and fell in love but we can't totally destroy our budget haha. So might have to settle for something else 7 30537 Hi VK, Think it's worth investing time in an Owner Builder course to equip you with basic knowledge on Australian Building Industry and its regulations.
