Was poured on Friday. SS told me frames are going up this Friday.
Looks like there's no back yard in the photos, but there is supposed to be 4m from the back fence to the end of the house/Rumpus room.

Yeah - the slab is looking pretty big and it does not feel like 4 metres from the back fence in the photos rather looks more like a metre.
Frame from this Friday - now is the time for weather to get a bit dry and your frame will be up within 3 weeks.

I went out there today to measure it and it was about 4.2m. The angle of the original photo is a bit deceiving. Here's a better angle I took today:

Question for those that are putting in window splashbacks...we just recieved a note from Arden letting us know that effective immediately they won't do 770mm high window splashbacks and will only do 514mm. This is vastly different to what we had confirmed in our contract, and a vastly different finish to what we were after. Anyone have any thoughts/advice on this one? We are finalizing the last details ahead of hopefully moving to construction sometime soon 🤞

Yeah, my block is 18m x 32m and with the Votivo 43 being about 22m/23m long + 5m setback from footpath - it doesn't leave much of a backyard.

What was their reason for the change?

All they've said so far is "due to the risks involved", although I'm not sure why they would have included this as one of the specs in our contract if this was the case?

Laijer - our block is almost exactly the same size! Same issue - we have a 5.5m setback, but managed to squeeze 6.5m backyard... will see how we go! Looking forward to seeing your progress shots!!

My reply is not going to help but my friend got the same message as yours. She's building a single story, I think it was Milan. They said it's because of the change of company policy.

Jeeta, did Arden's included hot water system have a water tank with it?
It's not one of those solar hot water with gas booster, is it?

Yup that's what they have. But we had to upgrade for approx $1k to cater for the 5 bathrooms.

Just ask your sales consultant if they can walk thru a Mercer being built - does not matter if u have signed up. Our sales consultant took us thru one vot 37 being built and then we decided to go ahead
